Past Volunteers
Susanna Mann
Susanna, 35 and from London, England, came to Bikash for two months in November 2004. She worked on improving the marketing communications activity and hence increasing the donor base.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Bikash. Not coming from an NGO or charity background it was fascinating to learn about how Bikash works and to see at first hand the amazing results that can be achieved through such a dedicated team. But the best part was working with the people from Bankura– from the smiling kids at the Special School to the warmth of the women in the rural villages and of course the generous hospitality of the Mukherjees.”
Joanne Leather
Joanne, 19, from Yorkshire, UK, worked with the children of BIKASH in the Centre for Special Education during her Gap year before starting university in 1998.
